Since 2003 Shea Yeleen International has been working to make a difference in the lives of traditional shea butter processors. We assist them in organizing cooperatives, providing processing and business training, and selling products sourced directly from women to consumers like you!

Over the last 10 years shea butter has grown into a popular cosmetic commodity, yet traditional African processors have been left to the wayside. Shea butter well known in African rural communities as an income generating activity for women is now being exploited to the disadvantage of women.
